Signature Pad

Sign above the dashed line. The checkerboard marks the transparent area — only your ink is saved in the PNG.

This signature pad uses the Atrament ink engine to turn your mouse, trackpad, or touch input into smooth, pressure-aware strokes that feel like real pen on paper. It works entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded to a server.

Steps

1. Pick an ink color and adjust the thickness and smoothing to taste.
2. Sign inside the pad using your mouse, stylus, or finger on a touchscreen.
3. Use Undo to remove the last stroke or Erase to clean up small mistakes.
4. Click Download PNG to save a transparent image, or Copy Image to paste it directly into another app.

Why a transparent PNG?

The canvas has no background — only the ink pixels are drawn. When exported, the empty space stays transparent, so your signature drops cleanly onto any document, PDF, or coloured form without an ugly white box around it. Enable Trim empty edges to crop the image tightly to the ink.

Natural-feeling ink

• Smoothing filters out jitter so curves look deliberate rather than shaky.
• Adaptive stroke subtly varies line width with drawing speed, mimicking a real pen.
• Rounded line caps and joins keep the ink continuous and organic.
